Over the past few years, I’ve worked across startups, NGOs, and
academia: recruiting across six African countries, coordinating press
coverage on CNN and Deutsche Welle, publishing five books, and most
recently helping a legal-tech startup communicate new product features
to its users.
At Judy Legal I was responsible for communicating new product features
to users and stakeholders. Three campaigns I led, each involving
visual assets I designed, articles I wrote, and multi-channel
distribution.
BriefBot feature launch
BriefBot was an AI-powered tool that helped lawyers generate case
briefs faster. I created the visual assets, wrote the announcement
copy, and coordinated distribution across email, blog, and social
media. A year and a half later, when BriefBot gained new
capabilities (Facts, Holdings, Ratio), I wrote and distributed the
follow-up launch.
Designed launch graphics and feature explainer visuals in Canva
Wrote the feature announcement article for the company blog
Drafted email campaign copy introducing the feature to existing users
Created social media posts to drive awareness
Assisted Research feature launch
Assisted Research was a feature that enabled legal professionals to
conduct faster, AI-supported case research. I followed a similar
multi-channel approach: designing assets, writing the feature story,
and ensuring consistent messaging across platforms.
Created visual assets explaining the feature’s workflow and value
Wrote the product announcement article
Coordinated launch timing across blog, email, and social channels
Company anniversary campaign
For Judy Legal’s 6th anniversary, I planned and executed a
content campaign that combined storytelling with celebration. I
organised lawyers from across the user base to record short product
videos, interviewed team members, created anniversary content for
social media, and shaped the narrative around the company’s
growth and milestones.
Organised and coordinated practising lawyers to record product testimonial videos
Interviewed team members about their journey with the company
Produced interview-based content published on social media
Designed anniversary visuals, wrote the anniversary email, and coordinated the publishing schedule
I launched The JUDY Monthly, the company’s first recurring
newsletter, from scratch. I owned the full editorial cycle:
identifying stories, writing content, designing the layout, and
tracking engagement metrics. Each preview below is rendered from the
exact email template subscribers received.

Employee handbook and onboarding documentation
I authored Judy Legal’s first employee handbook and code of
conduct from scratch. This involved translating company values,
policies, and operational expectations into clear, structured
documentation that new hires could immediately use during
onboarding.
03. Interview and narrative content
Interviewing people and turning their stories into engaging content is
one of my strongest skills. At Judy Legal I organised team and user
interviews for the anniversary campaign. At MEST Africa I interviewed
over a hundred candidates across six countries. At Konrad Adenauer
Stiftung I coordinated press coverage that landed on CNN and Deutsche
Welle.
Anniversary interviews at Judy Legal
For the company’s 6th anniversary, I organised practising
lawyers from the user base to record short product videos, talking
about how they use the platform in day-to-day work. I handled
scheduling, scripting prompts, and post-production coordination,
then turned the footage into social content published across the
company’s channels. The embedded videos appear in Section 04.
Social media content at Judy Legal
Beyond interviews, I managed Judy Legal’s social media
presence across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, creating
short-form, engaging content tailored to different audiences.

all created in Canva to maintain brand consistency. Full email

Website design
I built and designed the Sedesel Publications website on WordPress
(www.sedesel.com),
a publishing house I co-founded. Content architecture, visual
design, and ongoing content management.
